How to become a member

The Conservation & Wildlife Management Branch, always welcomes new members.

To become a member you need to first be a current financial member of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) and agree to abide by its code of
ethics.

You then need to obtain a Membership Application form and a New Applicant reference form (Legislative requirement) - complete these forms and then send them along with the prescribed fees (see table below) to the Secretary at the address shown on the application.

To become an active member, participating in the cull program, you will also need to attend and pass the SSAA Conservation & Wildlife Management Branch Accreditation course.
This involves a full day theory course and a practical field shooting test
